Getting the Lead Out
The University of Iowa is helping state residents to Get the Lead Out of drinking water.
The statewide initiative is offering free test kits to Iowans so they can measure the levels of lead in their home’s drinking water. The Get the Lead Out project will run through National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, which takes place Oct. 20–26.
