New Research Grants at Iowa State
Iowa State University recently announced two research grants. The first, a $10 million, multi-state initiative from the US Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative, will study the effects of cover crops on plant disease. In addition, a $1.5 million grant from A $1.5 million grant from the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency will aid in the development of new types of heat-resistant gloves for firefighters and first responders.
