Statement from Board President Cramer on Iowa City Shooting

We are aware of the shooting that happened in Iowa City early Sunday morning. Our hearts are heavy, and our prayers are with the victims, their families and anyone affected by this horrific incident.

The safety of all the faculty, staff and students at our universities is the highest priority to the Iowa Board of Regents. We have been in touch with university officials and will work with them to provide any support they need.
