Iowa Board of Regents Announces Second Finalist for Iowa State University Presidency
The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, has announced the second finalist in the search for the next president of Iowa State University.
Pamela Whitten, Ph.D., senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Georgia, Athens, will visit campus on Tuesday, October 10, to meet with faculty, staff, students and community members. Whitten’s curriculum vitae and full interview schedule are available below and on Iowa State’s presidential search website.
Whitten also will participate in a public forum on Tuesday, October 10, from 4-5 p.m. in the Durham Great Hall of the Memorial Union
Live video streaming of the public forum will be available on the ISU presidential search website. A mult box also will be available at the public forum for reporters covering the event.
Whitten is one of four finalists invited to participate in a final round of interviews at Iowa State. Following the campus visits, the Board of Regents will convene a meeting on October 23 to hear from the search committee, interview the finalist candidates, and select a new president.
