Board Schedules Public Forums for Superintendent Search
(URBANDALE, Iowa) – The Board of Regents has scheduled two open forums for the public to comment on the desired qualities of the next Superintendent of the Iowa School for the Deaf (ISD) and the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School (IBSSS)
The ISD forum will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014, at 5 p.m., in the Lied Multipurpose Center on the ISD campus in Council Bluffs. The IBSSS forum will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 5 p.m. in the Main Building Auditorium on the IBSSS campus in Vinton. Both forums will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
For the January 16 forum, the ICN sites listed below will be available beginning at 4:45 p.m. Since additional ICN sites may be added, please check the following link to the superintendent search page on the Board’s web site for updates prior to the hearing. It is recommended that members of the public wishing to participate via the ICN contact the selected site via phone during normal business hours for information on the appropriate building entrance to use.
