Board Reschedules Vinton Public Forums for Superintendent Search
(URBANDALE, Iowa) – The Board of Regents has rescheduled the Vinton open forum for public comment on the desired qualities of the next Superintendent of the Iowa School for the Deaf (ISD) and the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School (IBSSS).
The forum originally scheduled to be held yesterday at the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School was postponed due to inclement weather. This forum has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Main Building Auditorium on the IBSSS campus in Vinton. For the January 22 forum, the ICN sites listed below will be available for public participation in the forum beginning at 4:45 p.m. It is recommended that members of the public wishing to participate via the ICN contact the selected site via phone during normal business hours for information on the appropriate building entrance to use.
