What are the Board’s priorities?
The mission and vision of the Board of Regents reflect a deep commitment to creating the best public education enterprise in the United States to serve the needs of Iowa, its citizens, and the world. According to its 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, the Board of Regents, working through Iowa’s public universities, has the following strategic priorities:

- Operational excellence and effectiveness
