Today the Board of Regents, State of Iowa announced the first finalist to become the next president of the University of Iowa.

Today the Board of Regents, State of Iowa announced the dates of the public forums involving the finalists to become next president at the University of Iowa. The forums will occur over two weeks to allow time for the public and campus constituencies to provide feedback to the board.

Today the Board of Regents announced that candidates for the University of Iowa presidency will participate in public forums from 4:45-6:15 pm at the Iowa Memorial Union. 

Dr. Robert Donley, Executive Director of the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, has been voted Chair Elect of the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO). His appointment was made official today at the annual meeting of the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of public higher education held in Santa Fe, N.M. 

The Iowa Board of Regents, the Iowa Association of Community Colleges, and the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities will host a Campus Safety and Security Summit on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, for teams of higher education campus professionals. The Summit will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m....

The Board would like to thank the Governor and members of the General Assembly for the support that was shown to the universities and special schools this past legislative session. Of particular note, the Board is grateful for the $5.1 million added to the University of Northern Iowa’s base budget, as well as the approval of the Student Innovation Center at Iowa State University. 

Beginning Wednesday, July 1, all new U.S. high school graduates who apply for admission to the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and/or the University of Northern Iowa will be able to do so from a single web site location.
