Today the Board of Regents, State of Iowa announced the first finalist in the search for the next president of the University of Northern Iowa.

The Board of Regents, State of Iowa has announced the dates of the public forums involving the finalists to become the next president at the University of Northern Iowa. The forums will occur over four consecutive days.

The University of Northern Iowa Presidential Search and Screen Committee met on Wednesday, October 26 in Cedar Falls, narrowing a pool of 46 applicants to seven semifinalists.

The 2016 Campus Safety and Security Summit will be held October 26, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Scheman Building at Iowa State University. Hosted by the Iowa Board of Regents, the Iowa Association of Community Colleges Trustees, the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and the Iowa Coordinating Council for Post High School Education, the Summit is designed to allow higher education and other professionals to share best practices and information.
