The Board of Regents met in a telephonic meeting August 1, 2018

Dr. Subhash Sahai has resigned from the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, effective today, June 8, 2018. Sahai’s term began May 1, 2013.

At its April meeting, the Board of Regents, State of Iowa will consider proposed tuition rates for Iowa’s public universities, effective beginning with the fall 2018 semester. This will be a first reading of tuition with a formal vote to approve rates scheduled for the June board meeting.

The Board of Regents appreciates Governor Reynolds’ support for higher education and the proposed increase to the Regents enterprise for FY19. We will continue to be good stewards of all funding, including appropriated funds.
